The Philadelphia Flyers and center Jordan Weal agreed to a two-year, $3.5 million deal, reported Friday.

Weal is still a young player without a ton of NHL experience. He played in 23 games for the Flyers last season and only averaged 14 minutes on the ice with the Flyers.

He had 12 points in those 23 games last season, but managed to put up 47 points in 43 games in the AHL last season. Weal will be a nice addition to the Flyers should he get the right amount of playing time.
