The New Jersey Devils bought out the last two seasons of Mike Cammalleri’s contract on Friday.

Cammalleri was in the middle of a five-year, $25 million contract. The way the Devils have been going recently, it is no surprise that Cammalleri was going to be bought out. The rebuilding process is really taking shape in Newark.

He scored 10 goals and recorded 31 points for the Devils last season.
