The Toronto Raptors and Kyle Lowry‘s agent were “plugging away” at a new contract late into the early hours of Saturday, NBA.com reported.

Lowry is the last point guard really left on the top-tier market. Players like Stephen Curry, Jrue Holiday and Chris Paul all signed deals this offseason and Lowry would be the next to go.

There has not been many rumors swirling around Lowry. The Philadelphia 76ers were any early link to Lowry, but that did not seem to really pan out early on in free agency.
