The Philadelphia 76erse may go after free-agent forward Amir Johnson, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported Saturday.

Johnson played in 77 games for the Boston Celtics last season and could be a veteran presence on the 76ers bench should the team really pursue him.

The Boston Herald added that the 76ers could be pursuing a sign-and-trade for Johnson.

He averaged 6.5 points and 4.6 rebounds for Boston last season.
