The New York Knicks are still looking for a point guard and seemingly on the cheap. Since there isn’t much of that on the market, New York is reportedly looking for a veteran who was just released.
ESPN reported Saturday the Knicks reached out to Rajon Rondo and Darren Collison about joining the team.
Rondo was released by the Chicago Bulls before the free agency period opened up. Rondo averaged 7.8 points and 6.7 assists in 69 games with the Bulls.
Collison is coming off three seasons with the Sacramento Kings. With the Kings going to a youth movement, there is not much need for Collison. He averaged 13.2 points and 4.6 assists with the Kings last season.
