The Philadelphia 76ers and free-agent guard J.J. Redick agreed to a one-year, $23 million deal, ESPN reported Saturday.
Redick confirmed the deal was done with a single tweet, “Trust the process.”
Redick seemed to be dead set on leaving the Los Angeles Clippers right after the team traded Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets and giving Blake Griffin a max contract.
Philadelphia gets some veteran leadership it needs on a team full of young players. Plus, Redick has put up some solid numbers over the last couple seasons.
