The Minnesota Timberwolves were able to land a point guard Friday night hours after trading Ricky Rubio to the Utah Jazz for a future draft pick.
The Timberwolves and free agent Jeff Teague agreed to a three-year, $57 million deal, ESPN reported. Teague will be moving from the Indiana Pacers to Minnesota to play with the upgraded T’Wolves.
Teague played all 82 games for the Pacers last season. He averaged 15.3 points and 7.8 rebounds. He was one of the best point guards available on the market after Chris Paul.
