The Houston Rockets and forward Nene agreed to a four-year, $15 million contract, the Houston Chronicle reported Friday.

The Rockets needed another player to boost its roster after trading away seven players in the Chris Paul deal earlier this week.

Nene, 34, will be earning a lot for his age and for someone who is not really an outside shooter. He averaged 9.1 points and 4.2 rebounds for the Rockets last season in 67 games, mostly coming off the bench.

His durability is going to be a key factor during the next four years.
