Despite not being able to acquire Paul George from the Indiana Pacers, the Los Angeles Lakers are poised to make some minor moves in the offseason. A few players have already been linked to the team early in the free agency period.

ESPN reported Friday that the Lakers have spoken to free agents Rajon Rondo and Andre Iguodala.

The Bulls waived Rondo earlier Friday and has already been linked to a few teams, including the Indiana Pacers and New Orleans Pelicans. Rondo isn’t known for being able to work with a lot of players, but may be having Magic Johnson to learn from and possibly be a mentor to Lonzo Ball could entice him to go to Los Angeles.

As far as Iguodala, he is reportedly going to meet with a few teams over the course of the offseason. It is not likely he returns to the Golden State Warriors because of the ownership’s luxury-tax concerns. So that could mean a trip to the Lakers or San Antonio Spurs.
