Kentucky men’s basketball coach John Calipari said Thursday on Twitter that he did not reach out to anyone about the New York Knicks’ vacant president of basketball operations job.

ESPN reported earlier Thursday that Calipari reached out through “intermediaries” about being the New York Knicks’ president of basketball operations.

It does not appear that Calipari would make the jump and does not make sense for him to unless he really felt like he had something to prove. He likes running the Wildcats as a basketball factory and until drastic changes in the NCAA are made, Calipari will not leave that post.
