It is going to take a lot for the Los Angeles Clippers to bring Blake Griffin back to the team after the fallout with Chris Paul.
The Los Angeles Times reported Thursday that Griffin is expected to take a meeting with the Phoenix Suns on Saturday after free agency opens. The Suns can offer Griffin a four-year, $130 million deal. The Clippers can give him a five-year, $172 million max deal.
Is a young core enough to entice Griffin? Match him with the likes of Devin Booker, Josh Jackson and Alex Len and it could be an interesting team to make some noise — not enough to make a case in the Western Conference though.
Phoenix is also expected to meet with Paul Millsap, Arizona Sports reported.
