The Calgary Flames acquired goalie Eddie Lack, defenseman Ryan Murphy and a 2019 seventh-round draft pick from the Carolina Hurricanes for defenseman Keegan Kanzig and a 2019 sixth-round pick, TSN reported Thursday.

The Flames acquire another goalie in Lack and Murphy, who has played 151 games and is only 24. Both players will get a chance to make an impact in a fresh place and in a new conference.

Kanzig has not done really much of anything in his hockey career. The left-handed puck handler has never played in an NHL game. He recently played for the Stockton Heat in 2015-16.
