The Houston Rockets reportedly agreed to acquire Chris Paul from the Los Angeles Clippers. The Rockets are now trying to acquire a third star to add to the mix of Paul and James Harden.
ESPN reported Wednesday that the Rockets are trying to land Paul George from the Indiana Pacers and try to compete with the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference. The Rockets are also believing they could acquire Carmelo Anthony, a separate ESPN report said.
It is going to be difficult for Houston to acquire George. They could trade some of its younger pieces, but after gutting the team to trade for Paul, Clint Capella, Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon are all on the the chopping block now.
