The Edmonton Oilers and Zack Kassian agreed to a three-year extension on Monday. The winger really took off during the playoffs and was rewarded for doing so.

Kassian’s deal is worth $5.85 million and it will be a less than $2 million cap hit, according to TSN.

The 26-year-old had seven goals and 19 assists for the Oilers last season. He added two game-winning goals against the San Jose Sharks in the playoffs and that is where he really thrived.
