The Dallas Stars and defenseman Esa Lindell agreed to a two-year, $4.4 million contract on Monday, the team announced.
Lindell scored six goals and recorded 18 points in his time with the Stars in his first full season as a member of the Stars. He played a total of 73 games and averaged nearly 22 minutes of ice time.
The Stars are expected to be busy in free agency. The team still has decisions to make regarding Patrik Nemeth and Jamie Oleksiak.
