Charlotte Hornets rookie Malik Monk is expected to miss all of the NBA Summer League due to a sprained ankle, the team announced Tuesday.

The Hornets said Monk may miss 2 to 4 weeks and will not push Monk to play in the Summer League, which does not help them in the season at all. Monk can get his reps others ways.

The former Kentucky product was drafted No. 11 last week by the Hornets.
