The Anaheim Ducks and defenseman Korbinian Holzer agreed to a two-year contract worth about $1.8 million, TVA Sports reported Sunday. Holzer played 32 games for the Ducks during the 2016-17 season. He’s only had about 13 minutes of ice time per game in two seasons with Anaheim. He has not provided much assistance to the Ducks defensive line, but he comes at a cheaper price than what Cam Fowler and Josh Manson are going to cost to re-sign. The 29-year-old could find himself getting more minutes should Anaheim lose a piece.
