The Nuggets may be looking to add some key free agents to add to the young core of Nikola Jokic, Gary Harris and Jamal Murray. ESPN reported Monday the Nuggets are looking to take a run at free agents Blake Griffin and Paul Millsap in the offseason. Millsap is likely to leave the Atlanta Hawks this summer and could add a better defensive presence to the Nuggets, at least better than what Griffin could offer. He also has the chance to hit the three ball, which would add another dynamic to the Nuggets offense. However, if he is looking to chase a ring, the Western Conference would not be the place to go. Griffin has previously been linked to the Houston Rockets along with Chris Paul. Griffin would make more money if he returned to the Los Angeles Clippers. His departure is not set in stone yet this summer. But should the Nuggets pitch the young core, it could entice him to leave Los Angeles this summer.
