The Jordan Spieth critics had to keep silent for one more day. Spieth ended his cold streak Sunday with a dramatic victory at the Travelers Championship in Connecticut at TPC River Highlands. The 23-year-old held off Daniel Berger on the first playoff hole. He nailed a dramatic green-side bunker shot. He is the second player to win 10 events before turning 24. Tiger Woods won 15 times before he turned 24. β€œKind of chase a ghost which is normally the goal when you’re in the lead is chasing score, that can be more challenging than chasing somebody else down,” Spieth said after the win, according to Golf Channel. Spieth finished 12-under PAR for the course. Charley Hoffman and Australian David Lee finished in tied for third place 10-under PAR.
