The Indiana Pacers and Boston Celtics are in “serious talks” about a trade for Paul George, The Vertical reported Thursday in the midst of NBA Draft madness.

The Vertical added that talks gained “significant momentum” but the two sides are still far apart. The Celtics already lost out to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Jimmy Butler sweepstakes so George would be an important player to get.

George has been linked to several teams, but now the Celtics will probably be the team to ramp up talks with the Pacers.
