The New Orleans Pelicans traded guard Tim Frazier to the Washington Wizards on Wednesday for the No. 52 pick in Thursday night’s NBA Draft.

Frazier averaged 7.1 points and 5.2 assists in 65 games last season for the Pelicans. He will likely be used as John Wall’s backup.

According to ESPN, the Wizards picked up a $2.5 million trade exception when they acquired Bojan Bogdanovic from the Brooklyn Nets. Frazier’s contract is worth about $2 million.
