The Houston Rockets have reportedly been looking to trade some of its pieces to make a run for Chris Paul and Blake Griffin during free agency. Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon have both been suggested as pieces they could trade, but it looks like Patrick Beverley could be on the way out.

The Salt Lake Tribune reported Thursday that the Utah Jazz are discussing a trade for Beverley with the Rockets. The report said the Jazz also have “another point guard” on the radar.

Aside from acquiring Beverley, the Jazz are also receiving interest for Derrick Favors, the Desert News reported. Utah is not reportedly offering Favors to any team, but are not opposed to trading him.

Utah is not going to go out and make incredible trades for make runs in free agency. However, it does seem like Utah is hoping to pull in some guys that would entice Gordon Hayward to stay in Salt Lake City.
