New York Knicks president Phil Jackson has intentions of trading his superstar forward Kristaps Porzinigs, despite fan pleas to not destroy the franchise.

Porzingis is going to draw significant interest on the market, but the asking price is going to be hefty.

The Boston Globe’s Adam Himmelsbach reported Thursday that the Knicks’ asking price remains “massive.” TNT’s David Aldridge added that the Knicks are looking for picks because the franchise believes he would be the No. 1 pick in this year’s and next year’s draft.

ESPN reported that the Knicks’ asking price remains high. New York and the Boston Celtics have discussed Porzingis, but things have cooled to this point.
