The Philadelphia 76ers selected University of Washington guard Markelle Fultz with the No. 1 pick of the NBA Draft on Thursday night.

The 76ers moved up from the No. 3 spot to the No. 1 spot via a trade with the Boston Celtics last weekend.

The Fultz pick adds to an already young and talented roster. Fultz will join Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid on a team that is hoping to make some waves in the Eastern Conference very soon.

Fultz averaged 23.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.9 assists in his lone year with the Huskies.
