Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young will decline his option for the 2017-18 season and become a free agent, The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Wednesday.

Young has been on the outs with the Lakers since the organization was in the middle of a reshuffle. Young had spent the last four seasons with the Lakers and has averaged 13.1 points and 2.3 rebounds per game over those four years.

He just turned 32 and is not going to get the same type of deal he had with the Lakers. His option was for $5.6 million.
