The Los Angeles Dodgers have an unexpected journey to get back to the top of the National League West — having to go through the Colorado Rockies this time around. The Dodgers really put the hurt on the New York Mets on Tuesday night.

COREY SEAGER hit three of the Dodgers’ five home runs in the win. Seager is now sitting at 12 homers this season. Cody Bellinger and Yasmani Grandal also hit home runs. Bellinger is the fastest player in history to reach 22 home runs, while Grandal now has seven.

BRANDON MCCARTHY went six strong innings. He held the Mets to four hits and struck out four. He now has six wins on the season.
