The Jerry West era with the Los Angeles Clippers is kicking off with a bang. The Clippers are dangling center DeAndre Jordan out on the market in hopes to get some sort of trade offer, ESPN’s Chris B. Haynes reported Tuesday.
Jordan has two years and $46 million left on his contract. The going rate for a center is not really high. The Brooklyn Nets were able to acquire D’Angelo Russell and Timofey Mozgov for Brook Lopez and a first-round pick.
Los Angeles should not give up a pick in a salary dump, especially when they have the possibility of Chris Paul leaving.
According to the report, the Clippers have offered Jordan to several teams and the Phoenix Suns were the only ones who “balked.”
