The Houston Rockets organization extended GM Daryl Morey‘s contract on Wednesday, according Marc Berman of Fox 26 Houston. Morey will reportedly be with the organization through the 2020-21 season.

Morey has been noted throughout the league for using analytics to build out his roster. He’s made the moves to bring in James Harden, Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon onto the roster. But also had traded for Dwight Howard which did not go over so well.

He will have a big task of getting another piece this year to try and knock off the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference.
