It is going to be hard for the Los Angeles Clippers to bring back both Chris Paul and Blake Griffin in the offseason, especially if a team like the San Antonio Spurs are going to court its free agents.

ESPN’s Zach Lowe said on his podcast that he believes there is real “mutual interest” between the Spurs and Paul since San Antonio saw Tony Parker go down with a leg injury and miss most of the playoffs and Manu Ginobili is retiring.

However, the Clippers can offer Paul a super max $205 million extension. No other team can offer that. The ball would be in Los Angeles’ court.
