It is no secret that Paul George was a hot commodity on the NBA trade block this past winter. However, it only emerged recently that the Atlanta Hawks were making a major play for the Indiana Pacers superstar.

ESPN reported Saturday that the Hawks offered the Pacers four first-round picks in exchange for George. Obviously the trade did not go down and the Hawks were left without any additional firepower for the playoffs.

Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers also made plays for George, but Indiana did not budge.
