Los Angeles first baseman Adrian Gonzalez is still dealing with forearm tendinitis, the Orange County Register reported Friday. Gonzalez showed up to spring training with the issue and it still has not subsided. Gonzalez was shut down for two weeks before playing through it during the World Baseball Classic for Mexico. Manager Dave Roberts admitted that placing Gonzalez on the disabled list for the first-time in his career is a factor in their decision making. He added that the decision to forgo the idea could chance. Gonzalez has slashed .250/.341/.319 with nine RBI and no homers to show for as of yet this season.
