Nearly every single mock draft I looked at prior to Thursday’s NFL Draft had the Los Angeles Chargers going defense. When it came time for the team to select, Los Angeles did a complete 180 and decided to draft wide receiver Mike Williams with the No. 7 pick. The former Clemson star is coming off an incredible game in the national championship against Alabama. The Chargers are hoping that Williams can prolong Phillip Rivers‘ career because of his offensive prowess. Williams made DeShaun Watson look good and hopefully he can help the Chargers get further in the playoffs than ever before.
