Borussia Dortmund confirmed Tuesday there was an explosion near the team bus as they were getting ready to go to its UEFA Champions League match with Monaco.

There was only one injury from the explosion. ESPN FC reported Marc Bartra had wrist surgery after the explosion. The club’s match against Monaco was postponed until Wednesday.

“The bus turned on the main road when there was suddenly a huge bang, a proper explosion,” Dortmund goalie Roman Burki told The Guardian. “The police were quickly on the spot and handled the situation. We were all in shock. After the bang we all ducked and those who could lie on the floor did so. We didn’t know what was going to happen next.”

German authorities were investigating.
