San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey left Monday’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks after taking a Taijuan Walker 94 mph fastball to the head. Watch the video below if you dare.

Posey did not seem totally affected by the pitch. He did not lose consciousness and was able to leave the field under his own power.

Posey is still one of the best catchers in baseball and for the Giants to lose him so early in the season would not be too great. Nick Hundley is expected to get the start in Posey’s place for now.
