In the midst of an incredible sports Sunday, Oklahoma City guard Russell Westbrook set a record of his own. Westbrook recorded his 42nd triple-double of the season, breaking Oscar Robertson’s single-season record.

Westbrook completed the feat against the Denver Nuggets in the fourth quarter with an assist to Semaj Christon. Westbrook already solidified his triple-double averages earlier in the week against the Phoenix Suns, must missed getting the record in that game.

Adding to his incredible mark, Westbrook hit the game-winner against the Nuggets Sunday, giving Oklahoma City a 106-105 victory.

He finished with 50 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists.

The mark certainly gives Westbrook a good case for MVP.
