Sergio Garcia finally broke through to the other side. On Sunday, Garcia did not only win his first Masters but it was his first major win for his entire career.

Garcia defeated Justin Rose in a playoff at Augusta National. He birdied the first and only playoff hole the two played to narrowly defeat Rose. Garcia sunk the putt, hugged his opponent, his caddie and his wife and walked back to the clubhouse to obtain the illustrious green jacket.

It has been a long road for Garcia to get to this point. The Masters this weekend was his 70th consecutive major. He had never won up to this point, coming ever so close and even having some close wars with Tiger Woods long ago.

Garcia finally realizes a dream. The green jacket is his.
