Current Cleveland Browns wide receiver Kenny Britt essentially used the Los Angeles Rams in 2016 to have a bounce back season and get as much money from a team in the offseason. He did just that while becoming the Rams’ top receiver. So why is he bashing L.A. all of a sudden?
Britt took to Instagram Live on Thursday to tell the world he felt betrayed by the Rams, according to Turf Show Times.
“I wasn’t going to give any of this nonsense any of my time or energy. But when y’all start disrespecting me and my family it’s becomes an issue. Never will I disrespect anyone I call my brother or friend so let’s get that straight,” Britt wrote on Instagram. “Anything I said on (ig live ) was directed towards the (disrespectful fake fans).”
Britt suggested in the video that the Tavon Austin contract extension, a $56 million deal, was the reason why Los Angeles could not bring him back despite having a great season — 1,002 yards receiving and five touchdowns.
Britt has lashed out before and he still seems extremely bitter — more than likely it’s because he’ll be playing in Cleveland instead of Los Angeles, but that’s besides the point. Britt lashed out against the Turf Show Times.
