The 2018 MLB offseason is the time the New York Yankees are expected to go back to its old ways and sign every great player on the market, no matter the cost. Baltimore Orioles third baseman Manny Machado is going to be on that list and he told the New York Post what he foresees happening in two years.

“I’m sure now when we go to New York, it’s going to be crazy,’’ Machado said. “I know there is talk about the future and maybe me, Gary (Sanchez) and (Bryce) Harper being together. That’s New York. That’s what goes on. … You never know what to expect in this game.

Machado added that he is going to keep his options open.

Having a team filled with Sanchez, Harper and Machado would really give the Yankees a lot to work with for years on out. There would be no stopping them. However, New York really has to target a couple of pitchers going forward. The team cannot win without it.
