The Golden State Warriors will get back Kevin Durant for Saturday’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans. Durant will not have a minutes restriction and will be allowed to destroy the Pelicans anyway possible.

“I’m just going to go out there and be me,” Durant told NBC Sports Bay Area. “I can’t think about how I’ll feel, because I’ll end up holding back. I just want to go out there full throttle and see what happens.”

Durant has missed 19 games this season because of a Grade 1 MCL sprain and a bone bruise in his knee. The Warriors have already been extremely cautious leading up to his return and he is now ready to go.

This next week is going to be important. Steve Kerr cannot let Durant go too hard, but he definitely needs to give him a long leash to get ready for what will be a grueling playoff run.
