Former New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush are reportedly the two top bidders to purchase the Miami Marlins, Fox Business reported Wednesday.

Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria had been looking to sell the team in the last couple of months and reportedly had a “handshake” agreement with the Kushners, but the group backed out after it was learned Loria was up for ambassadorship in the Trump administration.

A baseball executive told Fox Business “whoever has the most cash will get the deal.”
