The San Francisco Giants signed second baseman Aaron Hill to a minor league deal on Friday, Fox Sports reported. The deal includes an invitation to spring training.

According to ESPN, Hill has a chance to make at least $2 million if he makes it in the majors. He could make an additional $1 million in incentives.

Hill batted .262/.336/.378 with 10 home runs and 38 RBI between the Boston Red Sox and Milwaukee Brewers. The 34-year-old has the ability to play second base and third base.
