Former NFL quarterback and University of Texas legend Vince Young is seeking a return to the league. He hasn’t played a down since 2014.

ESPN reported Wednesday Young hired agent Leigh Steinberg as his agent. Steinberg wrote in a Twitter message that Young “dreams of playing more football.”

Young last tried to latch on with the Cleveland Browns in 2014. But he was released when the team drafted Johnny Manziel. He also had a brief stint playing with the Green Bay Packers, but it didn’t materialize.

The Spring League, a developmental football league, previously had interest in bringing in Young.
