The Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to keep tight end Ladarius Green, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Tuesday.

Green was an important piece to the Steelers offense when he was healthy. But his health was a huge factor for the Steelers and he lost a lot of playing time to Jesse James over the course of the year.

Ankle and concussion injuries will be used against Green in the team’s official decision to keep the 26-year-old.

Green only played in six games in 2016.
