New York Mets right-handed pitcher Matt Harvey said Monday that he’s completely healthy heading into spring training.
“I come down here with a lot of confidence,” Harvey told the media in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Harvey slipped up a bit last season. He ended the season needing surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome. He had posted a 4.86 ERA before the injury took him out for the season.
The Mets are set to have a completely healthy rotation to start the 2017 season. Harvey, Noah Syndergaard, Jacob deGrom, Zack Wheeler and Steven Matz are ready to go to compete for an NL East crown once again.
