The New York Giants made a trio of cuts on Monday. The team released wide receiver Victor Cruz, running back Rashad Jennings and tight end Larry Donnell.

The Bergen Record first reported the Cruz move. The Giants will save $7.5 million by cutting Cruz. The former Giants standout receiver has said he wants to remain with the team, but New York will likely seek to bring him back at a much fairer price.

Jennings was set to make just over $3 million in 2017, according to ESPN. But the cut saves the Giants about $2.5 million. Jennings was the team’s starting running back to begin the season, but after some poor stretches he lost a majority of the carries to Paul Perkins.

NFL Network reported the Donnell release. Nobody really heard anything about Donnell after he returned from a serious staph infection he suffered last season. He appeared in some games, but ultimately lost his job to Will Tye.
