Bleacher Report’s Kevin Ding got a weird shout out from New York Knicks president Phil Jackson over his piece about Carmelo Anthony. However, the tweet Jackson sent out is seen as more of a subtle shot to Anthony rather than a response to Ding.

Ding goes over the relationship between Anthony and Jackson since the 11-time NBA champion head coach took over as head of the Knicks a few years ago. Ding concludes his piece by writing “can’t want for Anthony what he doesn’t want deeply enough for himself.”

Jackson tweeted Tuesday almost similar sentiments.

It’s the latest shot at Anthony after a few months of going back and forth. The bickering has spilled over into the Cleveland Cavaliers organization where LeBron James is reportedly facilitating a trade for Anthony for Kevin Love.

Anthony has reaffirmed his commitment to the Knicks, but this latest shot might be the final straw for the star who had a no-trade clausein his mega contract.
