Dallas Mavericks’ guard Yogi Ferrell has been playing out of his mind since the team picked him up from the D-League. Ferrell gave the Mavericks 32 points in a win Friday night over the Portland Trail Blazers, and in turn, the Mavericks rewarded Ferrell.

Dallas will sign Ferrell to a two-year contract after his 10-day contract expires, according to Yahoo Sports.

Ferrell is averaging 17.8 points in six games with Dallas.

He started his season with the Brooklyn Nets. He played in 14 games with Brooklyn.
