Nebraska and Ohio State are in a heated battle that has playoff implications. Cornhuskers quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. took a normal football hit out of bounds, but landed awkwardly and snapped his head back.
Armstrong was taken off the field on a stretcher in a neck brace. Fans were chanting “Tommy, Tommy, Tommy” has he was taken off the field. He gave a thumbs up as he left.
He was moving his limbs and speaking in the locker room, according to an official team statement.
