The Philadelphia 76ers are now down two players and the season hasn’t even officially tipped off yet.
76ers center Nerlens Noel will be out 3 to 5 weeks to recover from surgery to remove inflamed plica, according to Philly.com’s Keith Pompey. Noel is scheduled to undergo surgery Monday.
Noel entered his rookie season suffering a torn ACL and missed the entire year. This is by far less severe.
Philadelphia is already without top pick Ben Simmons due to a fractured foot.
