No. 22 North Carolina is having one odd season. The Tar Heels have beaten credible opponents like Florida State and Miami, but have been blown out by a Virginia Tech team. Big wins and an odd loss like that make their bowl resume pretty hard to gather. Should the Tar Heels top Virginia on the road, it would really make for an interesting finish in the ACC Coastal Division.

Virginia would like to get back in the win column. Two wins in the first six games isn’t doing much for the Cavaliers. Defending their home field against a strong Tar Heels team could be very good for them and throw a wrench into North Carolina’s season. However, this game will probably be overshadowed by the gluttony of other good games that are scheduled Saturday afternoon.
